[In 3 1/2 column diatribe against swearing, the following
near top of second column, recommending good places to find
people who swear:] The Playhouse offered a fine field
before the demolition of the gallery; but as it is, a keen
ear may still collect as many oaths in the pit and boxes,
nightly as the players receive dollars. I would, however,
recommend this department, till the audience get more
refined, to some understrapper, who will do the work for
half price.
