By authority. Theatre. By the American Company of
Comedians, on Tuesday next, December 9, 1783, will be
presented, a tragedy, called Oroonoko, or The Royal Slave.

Oroonoko, Mr. Ryan, Governor, Mr. Smith; Blandford, Mr.
Davids; Capt. Driver, Mr. Lewis; Hotman, Mr. Keating; Aboan,
Mr. Heard; and Imoinda, Mrs. Ryan.
To which will be added, a musical entertainment, called
Thomas and Sally, or, The Sailor's Return.
Thomas, Mr. Lewis; Squire, Mr. Wall; Dorcas, Mr. Ryan; and
Sally, Mrs. Hyde;
Between the play and the farce the favourite air of
"The Lark's Shrill Notes." by Mrs. Hyde.
Dancing by Mr. Roussell.
Ticket to be had at Mr. James Young's, in Market-Street;
at the Exchange-Coffee-House, Fell's Point; and of Mr.
Willis, next door to the Theatre, where boxes may be taken.
Box 7s.6d Pit, 5s.
N.B. No money whatever will be received at the door; nor
can any person be admitted behind the scenes. The doors
will be opened at five o'clock, and the performance will
begin precisely at six o'clock. Dec. 9, 1783.
