By Authority.  Theatre.  This evening, being the 26th day of
December, 1783, will be presented, a true tragedy, (written
by the author of George Barnwell) called The Fatal
Curiosity.
Old Wilmot, Mr. Heard; Randal, Mr. Lewis, Eustace, Mr.
Davids; Young Wilmot, Mr. Ryan. Maria, Miss Edwards;
Charlotte, Mrs. Hyde; Agnes, Mrs. Ryan. Singing, by Mrs.
Hyde. 
To which will be added, a farce, called The Mayor of
Garratt.
Major Sturgeon, by Mr. Courtenay, the gentleman who
performed Macheath; Jerry Sneak, Mr. Ryan. Mrs. Sneak, Mrs.
Ryan. The other characters as usual. 
Tomorrow evening, December 27, 1783, will be presented, the
celebrated comic opera, called Love in a Village.
Young Meadows, Mr. Wall; Eustace, Mr. Smith; Hodge, Mr.
Davids; Hawthorn, Mr. Lewis; Sir William Meadows, Mr.
Keating; Servants, Messrs. Roussel and Bailey; Justice
Woodcock, Mr. Heard; Rosetta, Mrs. Hyde; Maid, Miss Edwards;
Lucinda, Mrs. Ryan. 
  A Hornpipe by Mr. Roussel.
  To which will be added, a new farce, (never performed
here) called Too Civil by Half.
Sir Toby Treacle, Mr. Lewis; Captain Freeman, Mr. Ryan;
Bustle, Mr. Heard; Butler, Mr. Davids; Lieutenant Bumper,
Mr. Smith; Nancy, Mrs. Hyde; Bridget, Miss Edwards; Lady
Treacle, Mrs. Ryan. 
  [hand pointing right] Tickets to be had at Mr. James
Young's near the Post Office--at the Exchange Coffee-House,
Fell's Point; and of Mr. Willis, next door to the Theatre,
where boxes may be taken.
  Boxes, 7s.6d.  Pit, 5s
  [hand pointing right] No money whatever will be received
at the door; nor can any person be admitted behind the
scenes.--The doors will be opened at five o'clock, and the
performance will begin precisely at six o'clock.
