Last Saturday night, about nine o'clock, a bloody battle was
fought in Cornhill, between a bald-pated, Tory Officer of
marines belonging to one of the ships in this harbour, and a
blind Whig fidler of this town; during the combat, the
heroes displayed great courage and resolution on both sides,
but victory at length declared in favour of the former.
