A correspondent assures us, that the baggage of the first
commissioner going out to America is making up to be ready
for his Lordship next week; and as the contents are a little
curious for a plenipotentiary, he has sent us the following
particulars of it: six dozen of best scented chicken gloves-
-one dozen bottles essence of roses--twelve ditto lavender--
thirty six pound red and white powder--half a dozen opera
glasses--forty boxes of pearl coloured powder for the teeth.
