The 16th of February, being the Duke of Wurtemberg's birth-
day, there was a grand hunting in the Duke's forests . . .
[3 lines] In the evening the whole court appeared at the
opera in their hunting dresses, and at night supped in high
good humour.
On the 17th of February there was a most magnificent
theatrical entertainment at the court of Petersbourg, at
which the actors, dancers, singers and musicians, to the
number of 100. were all persons of distinction. The Prince
of Anhalt, a relation of her Imperial Majesty, was present,
and the Duke and Prince of Courland were among the dancers.
