Prince George Augustus of Mecklenburgh, the Queen's youngest
brother, arrived at Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday se'night,
accompanied by Baron de Witdz, . . . [4 lines] At night
they all appeared at the Ball in Pinchbeck's Room; and his
highness not chusing to dance, sat down to cards with Lady
Harrington, Lord and Lady Powis, Lord Clambrassil, Count
Welderen, Count Bothmar, and several other persons of
Quality. The next morning he was present at a concert in
the same rooms, when Mr. Detrick (the Master of the
Ceremonies) invited all the company of the place, in his
highness's name, to tea in the evening; and the croud was
amazingly great. . .
