P.S. Boston, Dec. 17. A brief narrative or poem, giving an
account of the hostile action of some Pagan Indians towards
Lieut. Jacob Tilton, and his brother Daniel Tilton, Pub. of
the town of Ipswich, as they were on board of a small vessel
at the Eastward, which happened in the summer-time, in the
year 1722, with an account of the valiant exploits of the
said Tiltons, and their victorious conquest over their
insulting enemies; and will be speedily be published for the
encouragement of all such as may be inclin'd by this example
to reduce those Indian Pagans. Composed by the ingenious
