We are advised from Eastham, that Mr. Israel Cole of that
place, lately dy'd worth 10000 l. 2000 of which he left to
four grandchildren, and 8000 of which to his only son of the
same name, who in return for his fathers extraordinary
frugality in his life, and good will at his death, order'd
the most magnificent internment for him that has been known
in New England; which was performed. . . [15 lines, no music

Here lies old Cole; but how or why
He liv'd, or how he came to dy,
His son and heir may best declare it,
Who's doubly bless'd with's father's spirit;
