Hague, July 6. No body here minds any news, but what
concerns the Prince & Princess of Orange, who entirely
engross the publick to themselves. Never did people shew a
warmer zeal & affection, than our upon this occasion. If
they did not think it prudent to erect triumphal arches,
they have however filled the streets with garlands of
greens, from which hang crowns of greens & flowers, some
adorned with oranges, other with flames of that colour; some
with devices in honour of their Royal and Serene Highnesses,
and other with cyphers & vows in their favour. In some
streets there are cabinets of greens, which are illuminated
as soon as it is dark; and here the people drink and dance,
and nothing is to be heard, but blessings upon their
Highnesses and curses upon their enemies. . . [1 col.]
