We hear from Springfield, that on Tuesday last the
ordination of the Rev. Mr. Robert Breck to the pastoral
office of the first church there was publickly and quietly
carried on in the following order, viz. The Rev. Mr.
Wilsteed began with prayer, the Rev. Mr. Cooper preach'd the
sermon; after which Mr. Breck made a declaration of his
faith: Then the Rev. Mr. Chauncy of Hadley gave the charge:
And the Rev. Mr. Rand of Sunderland the right had of
fellowship: And after singing the latter part of the 118
Psalm, the large assembly was dismiss'd with the usual
benediction by the newly ordained pastor.
