Yesterday being the anniversary of the happy accession of
His Majesty King George the Second, our most gracious
Sovereign, when his Majesty enter'd into the thirteenth year
of his reign; the same was observed here with the greatest
marks of duty and loyalty to his Majesty and his illustrious
family, and with a particular regard to the late happy
increase of the Royal Family, in the birth of a Prince
second son of their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess
of Wales: The bells in the towns were rang for several
hours; the guns at Castle William, and on board several
vessels, were discharged, the regiment of militia were under
arms, and made a very fine appearance, and the evening
concluded with illuminations and other publick rejoycings.
