What follows is a state of the return of the several
regiments after the attack of Fort Lazara, which is a very
strong fort built upon an eminence for the defence of the
town of Carthagena.

4 captains, 10 subalterns, 6 serjeants, 1 drum, and 158 rank
and file.
Officers and men wounded.
4 field officers, 11 captains, 20 subalterns,
24 serjeants, 3 drums, and 401 rank and file.

183 serjeants, 122 drums, 3456 rank and file.
Officers and men sick,
