Dublin, June 11. Last evenin[g] Hamerton for the County of
Tipperary, Esq; was married to Miss Savage, a younger
daughter of the late Mr. Robert Savage, a noted attorney in
his Majesty's Court of Exchequer, a young lady of great
merit, beauty and fortune. The ancient ceremony of dancing
bare-foot was perform'd by her eldest sister, which she did
on an exceeding rich brocaded night-gown, spread on the
floor as a carpet, and after she had done he presented her
with the night-gown for her pains.
