[Woodcut very similar, but a little more crude, of another
one I've seen recently, perhaps the Pennsylvania Journal.
Figure of Indian on left, holding spear in right hand, left
behind open book on pedestal. "Journal" printed across two
open pages of book. Winged draped female figure on right,
with right hand holding same book, left holding up long
straight trumpet. Ship in full sail in cartouche below
pedestal. Title of paper changes with this issue. N.B.
Woodcut runs in masthead until paper stops publishing on 17
Jul 1777.]
