Charles Catford, Commander of the Captain, having received a Wound in his Thigh in the late Engagement, it was proposed to carry him down to the Cockpit, on which this brave Officer said, No: This Accident will hinder my dancing, but shall not prevent my fighting. Soon after which he died gloriously. |
