Philadelphia, July 28. . . [Lengthy account of Indian
attacks on the colonists, 27 lines, 84 lines, 3 lines]
On Sunday night next, at St. Paul's Church in this city,
will be preached a charity sermon, by the Rev. Mr. William
Mac Clenachan; and the money that may be then collected, is
to be applied towards the relief of the abovementioned
unhappy sufferers, who have been driven from their
habitations by a cruel and blood-thirsty enemy. Hymns
suitable to the occasion, will be performed by organ and
singers.--And it is hoped, that all charitable disposed
persons will chearfully embrace this opportunity, of
throwing in a small part of what it may have pleased God to
bless them with to this most necessary charity.
