Boston, April 14. Yesterday noon the Sons of Liberty here
received (by express) from their brethren at Newport the
following most glorious article of intelligence, which is
not in the least doubted as to its veracity, viz.

Immediately upon the arrival of this glorious news, the
bells in town were set a ringing, drums beating, and flags
hoisted in several places; joy and gladness now appears in
every loyal subject and friend of liberty.
