Just Published, And to be Sold by, William Appleton, At his
Shop in Portsmouth,
A Sermon preached by John Murray, A.M. intitled, The Last
Solemn Scene.
All those that subscribed for the above books in Portsmouth,
are desired to call or send for the number they subscribed
for--Price to subscribers nine pence L money each book.
Also, just publish'd, and sold at the same place, a new
edition of the Psalms of David, imitated in the English
language. By the Rev. Dr. Watts. With the large Preface;
being a discourse on the right way of fitting the Psalms of
David for Christian worship. With explanatary Notes for a
great part of the Psalms. This is the only Watts's Psalms
ever published in America with the large Preface and Notes.
Also,
Bickerstaff's curious Almanack for the Year 1769. Said
Appleton has for sale a large and valuable collection of
books and all sorts of stationary very cheap for cash only.
