Boston, January 3. Last Friday morning died here of
asthmatical disorders, Mrs. Anna Green, relict of the late
Joseph Green, Esq aged 69--. . . [10 lines of eulogy]
Having received the following lines upon this occasion, we
shall here insert them.
For one like her with such a heavenly breast,
Where all the virtues strongly were imprest,
'Tis not enough to mourn in outward show,
'Tis not enough to put on fable woe;
More solid marks of poignant grief are due
To her we lov'd so well, and so well knew:
