London, July 7. Last week was underwrote at one of the first
houses in the city, upon the situation of affairs between
England and France . . . [political essay, 28 lines] and
tho' our wise ministry are continually trumpeting forth to
the public the pacific disposition of France and Spain, in
regard to this country, there is every day some proof to the
contrary, which gives the direct lie to such assertions.
