Ran away from the subscriber, in Sussex county, a likely,
short, stout mulatto lad, aged about 20 years, American
born, used to horses and waiting in the house, plays well on
the fiddle and French horn; had on a white drilling coat
with metal buttons, white under cloaths, and a beaver hat.
Lived in New-York when young, since in Carolina, and lately
with Mr. Rutherford in New-Jersey; can read and write; he is
a pert, saucy fellow. Whoever takes up the servant above
described, and secures him so that his master can have him
again, shall have fifty pounds reward, and all reasonable
charges paid by me [signed] William M'Cullough. July 3,
1779.
