The Lady's Counsellor.
Art thou a daughter? act with care,
Be duteous, and of man beware.
The above lines are selected from a little publication,
stiled, the mirror. . . . No wonder that the female sex make
the adorning of their persons, and acquiring the trifling
accomplishments of musick and dancing, so much their
pursuit, (especially those who are not surrounded by
affluence) seeing these things have the greatest influence
and say with and over the minds of men. . . .
