Proposals for printing by subscription a dissertation on the
Sabbath; in which
First, the Quaker doctrine of the Sabbath is examin'd and
shew'd to be contrary to scripture and reason. Secondly,
the commonly receiv'd doctrine of the Sabbath is also
examin'd, and shew'd to be according, both to scripture and
reason: In a Letter to the Quakers, by Jacob Johnson, Servt.
of Christ at Groton, with a hymn on the Christian Sabbath.
