Boston, November 4. . . Last Friday, being the long-
expected and long-dreaded first of November, one thousand
seven hundred and sixty-five! An aera at once memorable for
the noble union of the people, and detested for the boldest
attempts to invade the rights of Britons! Early in the
morning there appeared at the south part of this town,
distinguished with ensigns armorial, a most remarkable
portrait; bearing on a field of sable, two human figures,
pendant: emblazoned with various labels, argent;
interspersed with hieroglyphics, proper.
O THE RIGHT, G. G----LE.
Your servant sirs! do you like my figure,
You've seen one rogue, but here's a bigger;
Father of mischief---how I soar,
Where many a rogue has done before.
