Portsmouth, (New-Hampshire) Jan. 6. Agreeable to the design
of the sons of liberty to sacrifice the infamous abettors of
the stamp-act to their just resentment, they assembled last
Friday on the parade, when the effigy of G--ge G--ville made
his appearance, bound in chains .. . affixed the following
lines addressed to the public.
Come view G--ge G--ville with attention,
Mark this vile stamp, his rare invention.
And here, behold him at the stake,
Observe how ev'ry limb does shake
