Philadelphia, May 4. . .  But the base born solicitor, who
attempted to turn his learning, benevolence, and patriotism,
into ridicule, is (like Hutchinson) a parricide of the first
rank, who would sacrifice his country . . .

from Hudibrass:
So a wild tartar, when he spies
A man that's handsome, valiant, wise,
If he can kill him, thinks t' inherit
His wit, his beauty, and his spirit:
