Printing-Office, Norwich, Feb. 24. 1774. The printers
hereof, presume to acquaint the gentlemen and ladies who
have favoured them with the subscriptions for Dr. Watts'
Psalms, that one of the Printers of this office has since
November last, been afflicted with a very severe
indisposition, and obliged to undertake a journey to Albany,
for the re-establishment of his health. This contingence,
unfortunate to them, will, they hope, sufficiently apologize
for the unexpected and unavoidable delay of publication.
The book is now in great forwardness, and will be delivered
to subscribers in a few weeks. As there are but an
inconsiderable number of copies of this impression,
unsubscribed for, such persons as are desirous to
accommodate themselves with this small, splendid and
remarkably cheap edition, are requested to intimate their
intention to the publishers, with all convenient speed.
