The charges likewise which he advances against the honorable
Arthur and William Lee, are, to me, circumstantial evidences
of Mr. Deane's
. . . and has brought the last mentioned person again on the
stage in America. There is something in this so exceedingly
weak, that I am surprised that any one who would be thought
a man of cause, should [?] his reputation upon such
frivolous a tale; for the event of the story, if any can be
produced from it, is greatly against himself.
