London, September 14. At this time of rebellion in the
north, in favour of a Popish Pretender, we apprehend the
following piece, from Mr. Addison's Freholder, No 9, wrote
at the time of the Pretender's attempt in the year 1715,
will be agreeable to our readers.
The Declaration of the Freeholders of Great-Britain, in
answer to that of the Pretender.

success of those very measures that were laid to disappoint
