To Mr. R. R. alias A--e--n wou'd be,
I saw your elaborate performance in Mr. Parker's last week's
gazette, in which you endeavour to vilify the characters of
those magistrates under whose inspection the last election
was held. It's needless to descend to particulars: We all
know that the election was fair, the bell rung, the court
met, rather later than the usual hour, the names of the
magistrates who serv'd the last year was read, and they sat
up again; no opportunity being offer'd they were bookt as
duely elected. . .
