Hague, March 28. Tho' another reform in our troops will
certainly take place, yet it will not be so considerable as
has been given out, and will probably be confin'd to sending
back the foreign troops successively, as their capitulations
expire; and the republick will even then have an army of
64,000 men on foot. The workmen are employed day and night
on the superb edifice which is to serve for the theatre of
the rejoycings to celebrate the re-establishment of peace;
and the council of state, under whose direction they are
carried on, spare neither pains nor money to render their
magnificence suitable to the occasion.
