Run away the 2d of this instant from Samuel Scott of
Lancaster County in Pennsylvania, a servant, man named
Thomas Kelly about 24 years of age, near six foot high,
pock-broken, with scars in his throat, short black hair;
took with him a redish brown jacket, and breeches mounted
with mohair, and some metal buttons on the jackets, and
cloth of the same to make him a coat, and it supposed to
have a felt hat, and had a velvet cap with a good-morrow, he
is an ill-looking fellow, broad-fac'd but thin of flesh, had
a check and white linnen shirt, good shores, and grey yarn
stockings but may have changed his habit, sings well and
turns tunes in his throat: Whoever secures said servant so
that his master may have him again (if out of Pennsylvania
shall have four pounds currency of the province wherein
taken, and reasonable charges) if in Pennsylvania, forty
shillings and reasonable charges paid by [signed] Samuel
Scott. March 8th, 1750-1.
