Has all the virtues that a man needs have;
On these, as on their master hinges roll
All other virtues that adorn the soul.
Happy are we, since they on Monckton wait,
Who guides our present Army, and our state:
With joy we see the delegated trust,
Repos'd in Monckton, who is firmly just.
