* * * Mr Douglass begs leave to acquaint the town, that the
Play of the Recruiting Officer, &c. intended to have been
acted this evening, is, for some particular reasons, put off
to Wednesday.
By permission of his Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by a
Company of Comedians.
At the New-Theatre, in Chapel-Street, On Wednesday, being
the 20th of January, will be presented a Comedy, written by
Barque [?], call'd
The Recruiting Officer.
To which will be added, A Pantomime Entertainment, in
grotesque characters, call'd
Harlequin Collector, or The Miller Deceiv'd.
Tickets to be had of Mr. Gaine, in Hanover-Square.
Boxes 8 s.--- Pit 5s.--- Gallery 3s.
To begin at 6 o'clock.
