By a Company of Comedians. At the New Theatre in Chapel-
Street, This evening, being the tenth of February, will be
presented, a Comedy, call'd
The Committee, or the Faithful Irishman.
Teague, by Mr. Hallam, Ruth, by Mrs. Douglass.
To which will be added, a Pastoral Farce, call'd
Damon and Phillida.
To begin exactly at six o'clock.
Tickets to be had of Mr. Gaine, in Hanover-Square, and of
Mrs. Douglass, at her lodgings, near the Theatre, where
places in the boxes may be taken.

[Hand pointing right] The ceremony of waiting on ladies and
gentlemen at their houses with bills, has been for some time
left off in this company: the frequent solicitations on
these occasions, having been found rather an inconvenience
to the person so waited on, than a complement. For which
reason, Mr. Allyn, hopes the town will dispense with a
personal application, and favour him with their company.
