London, Jan 7. Yesterday morning at one o'clock the corpse
of the late Princess Caroline, was removed from St. James's,
in a private manner, to the Prince of Wales's Chamber at the
House of Peers. . . [25 lines on processions and ceremonies]
At eight o'clock St. Paul's Bell began to toll; and at ten
the Park and Tower guns began to fire; and fir'd minut'ly
till the funeral was over..
