London, Sept. 19. In the midst of our rejoicings for the
late victories and advantages gained over our enemies the
French, let us not forget what was done against them by our
fathers only, and in the days of Queen Anne. These noble
exploits are worthily commemorated by inscriptions on the
set of bells cast at that time.

First in the peal I well deserve my name,
For Blenheim's story will be first in fame.
