On Sunday last the following anthem was sung at Trinity
Church, after the charity sermon.---The Organ by Doctor Lee-
--The chorus join'd by the Charity Scholars.
SOLO, by Mr. Leadbetter.
Ps.XXXIV., verse 1
I will give thanks unto the Lord,
His praise shall be ever in my mouth---
O praise the Lord with me,
VERSE AND CHORUS.
And let us magnify his name together.
SOLO, by Mr. Tuckey.

RECITATIVO.
Lo,the poor crieth, and the Lord heareth him---
AIR.
Yea and saveth him out of all his trouble---
SOLO, by Mr. Tuckey.
He is Father of the fatherless, and defendeth the cause of
the widow.
VERSE. THREE VOICES.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to
everlasting,
World without end, and let all the people say Amen---
CHORUS.
Amen Hallelujah Amen.
The whole was executed to the entire satisfaction of a
numerous audience, and a generous collection was made for
the benefit of the Charity School, in this city.
N.B. The school consists of forty-eight boys, and twelve
girls, who are annually clothed. The boys are taught to
read, write, and cast accompts: The girls,---reading,
writing, and needle-work.---Books found at the charge of the
charity.---The aiders of this pious work, are likewise
informed that the school is visited regularly once a month,
by a committee of the vestry of Trinity-Church, appointed
for that purpose.
On Sunday next, in the forenoon, a charity sermon will be
preached at St. George's Chappel, by the Rev. Mr. Auchmuty,
and a collection for the benefit of the Charity School, in
this city. The above anthem will be sung after sermon.
