By permission of his Excellency the Governor. By the
American Company, at the Theatre, in John-street, this
evening, being Monday the 7th of March, 1768, will be
presented, a comedy, written by the present Poet Laureat,
call'd,
The School for Lovers.
Sir John Dorilant, by Mr. Douglass, Modely, by Mr. Hallam,
Bellmour, by Mr. Wall, Steward, by Mr. Morris, Celia, by
Miss Hallam, Lady Beverly, by Mrs. Harman, Araminta, by
Miss Cheer. The epilogue between Mr. Hallam, and Miss Cheer.
End of the play, singing by Mr. Woolls.
To which will be added, a farce, call'd
The Apprentice.
Dick, (with the Epilogue) by Mr. Wall, Wingate, by Mr.
Morris, Gargle by Mr. Henry, President, (with a song) by
Mr. Woolls, Simon, by Mr. Tomlinson, Spouters, by Mr.
Hallam, Mr. Douglass, Mr. Malone, Mr. Greville, Mr. Raworth,
Mr. Roberts, &c. Charlotte, by Miss Wainwright.
To begin exactly at six o'clock. Vivant Rex & Regina.
No persons can, on any pretence whatever, be admitted behind
the scenes.
Tickets, without which no person can be admitted, are sold
at Mr. Gaine's in Hanover-Square, and of Mr. Lansdowne, at
Mr. Hayes's, at the area of the Theatre, every morning from
nine till one, and after three every play night.
Places in the boxes, may be taken of Mr. Broadbelt, at the
stage-door. Boxes 8s. Pit 5s. Gallery 3s.
