American Company. (By particular desire) At the Theatre in
John-Street, this evening,, being Monday the 14th of March,
1768, will be presented a comedy, called,
The Miser.
The Miser, by Mr. Hallam. (Being his first appearance in
that character.) Frederic, by Mr. Douglass. Clermont, by
Mr. Wall. Ramilie, by Mr. Morris. James, by Mr. Tomlinson.
List, by Mr. Henry. Decoy, by Mr. Raworth. Sattin, by Mr.
Greville. Sparkle, by Mr. Woolls. Furnish, by Mr. Malone.
Charles Bubbleboy, by Mr. Roberts. Harriet, by Miss Hallam.
Mrs. Wisely, by Mrs. Douglass. Lappet, by Mrs. Harman.
Wheedle, by Mrs. Wall. Mariana, by Miss Cheer.
To which will be added, (never performed here) a musical
entertainment, composed by Dr.Boyce, called,
The Chaplet.
Damon, by Mr.Wools. Palaemon, by Mr. Wall. Pastora, by
Miss Hallam. Laura, by Miss F. Storer.
To begin exactly at six o'clock. Vivant Rex & Regina. No
persons can, on any pretence whatsoever, be admitted behind
the scenes. Tickets, without which no person can be
admitted, are sold at Mr. Gaine's in Hanover-Square, and of
Mr. Lansdowne, at Mr. Hayes's, in the area of the Theatre,
every morning from nine till one,and after three every play
night. Places in the boxes, may be taken of Mr. Broadbelt,
