By permission of his Excellency the Governor. By the
American Company. At the Theatre in John-Street, to-morrow
evening, being the 28th of June, 1768, will be presented, a
tragedy, called,
The Distrest Mother.
Orestes, by Mr.Hallam, Pyrrhus, by Mr. Douglass, Pylades,
by Mr. Morris, Phoenix, by Mr. Woolls, Andromache, by Mrs.
Douglass, Cephisa, by Mrs. Harman, Cleone, by Miss Hallam,
Hermione, by Miss Cheer.
After the play, The Soldier tir'd of War's Alarms, from the
opera of Artaxerxes, will be sung by Miss Hallam.
To which will be added, a pastoral farce, called,
Damon and Phillida.
Damon, by Mr. Woolls, Mopsus, by Mr. Hallam, Cymon, by
Mrs.Harman. Arcas, by Mr. Douglass. Corydon, by Mr.
Morris, Phillida, by Miss Wainwright.
To begin exactly at half after six. Vivant Rex & Regina.
Tickets to be had at Mr. Gaine's in Hanover-Square; and of
Mr. Hays at the Theatre. Places in the boxes may be taken at
Mr. Douglass's, opposite to the Theatre.--Boxes 8s. Pit 5s.
