By permission of his Excellency the Governor, on Tuesday
evening, the 11th instant, An Attic Evening's Entertainment,
at Mr. Burns's Long Room. Extracts from various authors
read, and some of the most celebrated songs will be sung.
Reaping; a tale relative to it: from Thompson's Poem on
Autumn. Arabella, or the Sisters, a favourite song, by Mr.
Hudgson, from Ranelagh. A Poetic Epistle, from Gay's Works.
A song by Mr. Warwell. A Description of an Earthquake: from
Phillips's Works. A song by Mr. Hudgson. The Birth of the
Squire, an Eclogue, in imitation of the Pollio of Virgil. A
cantata by Mr. Warwell.  A song by Mr. Hudgson. A new two
part song by Mr. Warwell and Mr. Hudgson. Tickets to be had
only at Mr. Burns's Tavern, at five shillings each.  To
begin at half an hour after seven o'clock.
