Monday last being the 11th instant, his Excellency Sir Henry
Moore, Baronet, departed this life in Fort George, after 16
days illness, and in the 56th year of his age. We never had
a governor, whose death was more deeply and deservedly
lamented. . . [62 lines] From the moment he expired, all the
colours in the harbour were half hoisted; all the bells
tolled a great part of the day--minute guns were fired
during the procession from the Fort to the church, which was
