Theatre. (Never performed there.) For the benefit of Miss
Cheer, and Mr. Woolls. By permission of his excellency the
governor, by the American Company, at the theatre in John-
Street, this evening, June 21st, will be presented, a
masque, written by Milton, author of Paradise Lost, called
Comus.
Elder Brother, by Mr. Parker.
In act III, for the court of Comus, the transparent scenes.
Dancing, by Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, High Life Below Stairs. End of the
farce, by particular desire, A Mason's Anthem, by Mr.
Woolls.
Before the masque, and between the acts, some pieces of
musick by the band belonging to his majesty's regiment of
Royal Welch fuzileers. The doors to be opened at five, and
the play to begin at half an hour after six o'clock.

theatre, of Mr. Ryan, in the Broad-Way; of Miss Cheer, at
Mr. Many's, in Nassau Street; and of Mr. Woolls, in Battoe
