At the Orange-Tree, on Golden-Hill, on Monday next, the 18th
instant, for the beneift of Mr. Bayly; who begs leave to
acquaint ladies and gentlemen, that having failed in every
attempt for a benefit, on account of the rain each night; he
is now generously assisted by a number of gentlemen. By
whom will be presented a tragedy, called
The Orphan, or the Unhappy Marriage.
Acasto, Castalio, Polidore, Chamont, Chaplain, Ernesto,
Paulino, Monimia, Serina, Maid, Page, by gentlemen, and
ladies for their amusement.
To which will be added a pantomine entertainment, call'd
Harlequin Statue.
Panteloon, by Mr. Shaw. Harlequin, by Mr. Martin. Clown,
by Mr. Tea. Colombine, by Mrs. Bayly.
Boxes six shillings,--pit five,--gallery three shillings.
A good band of musick will be provided, with scenes and
decorations, incident to the play. Ladies and gentlemen,
are desired to send for tickets soon, as no more will be
sold than the house can conveniently contain.--Tickets to be
had of Mr. Bayly, at the place of performance. The door
will be opened at four and begin positively at seven
o'clock. Vivant Rex et Regina. He continues to perform his
usual entertainments, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday. Boxes 3s.--Fronts 2s.--Backs 1s.
