American Company. At the Theatre in John-Street, on
Saturday evening, being the 19th of March, 1768, will be
presented, The Tragedy of
Cato.
Cato, by Mr. Douglass, Sempronius, by Mr. Hallam, Juba, by
Mr. Wall, Portius, by Mr. Henry, Marcus, by Mr. Greville,
Syphax, by Mr. Morris, Lucius, by Mr. Tomlinson, Decius,
by Mr. Woolls. Lucia, by Miss Hallam, Marcia, by Miss
Cheer. By particular desire, the original prologue will be
spoken by Mr. Hallam.
To which will be added, (by particular desire) a pantomime
entertainment, call'd,
The Witches, or Harlequin Restor'd.
Harlequin, by Mr. Hallam, Pantaloon, by Mr. Morris, Petit-
Maitre, by Mr. Wall, Monsieur, by Mr. Roberts, Peirot, by
Mr. Tomlinson, Necromancer, by Mr. Woolls, Witches, by
Miss Hallam, Miss Storer, Mrs. Harman, Mrs. Wall, Mrs.
Tomlinson, etc. Colombine, by Miss Cheer. To conclude with
a country dance by the characters.
To begin exactly at six o'clock. Vivant Rex & Regina. No
person on any pretence whatsoever, can be admitted behind
the scenes. Tickets, to be had at Mr. Gaine's, at the Bible
and Crown, in Hanover-Square, and of Mr. Lansdown at Mr.
Hayes's, in the area of the theatre.
Places in the boxes, may be taken of Mr. Broadbelt, at the
stagedoor.--Ladies will please to send their servants, to
keep their places, at four o'clock. Boxes, 8s. Pit, 5s.
