On the 6th Inst. departed this life in the 79th year of his age, Conrad Beysell, the founder of the Society of Seventh-Day Baptists at Ephrata, in Lancaster County, and on the 8th following, his remains were attended to the grave-yard by upwards of seven hundred people, from different parts--for his peacable disposition, and Christian deportment had gained him the esteem of all who knew him. |
