By permission of his Excellency the Governor. By the
American Company, at the Theatre, in John Street, on Friday
next being the 3d of March, 1769, will be presented,
The Beggar's Opera.
Capt. Macheath, (by desire) by Mr. Hallam, (being his first
appearance in that character.)
Polly, (by desire) by Miss Wainwright, (being her first
appearance this season.)
To conclude with a country dance, by the characters.
To which will be added,
The Witches or Harlequin Restor'd.
Tickets to be had of Hugh Gaine, in Hanover-Square, and Mr.
Partridge, at Mr. Young's two doors from the Theatre, who
attends, etc. etc.
