[taken from English papers.] To Junius Americanus. Verily,
verily, Junius, thou hast shewn a little of thy cloven foot;
thou cannot be a sincere friend to the American cause; it is
rather to be suspected that thou art a firebrand joining in
mischief to that country and to this. [21 lines predicting
dire consequences to "Junius" for his letter of accusation
vis-a-vis the Stamp Act] thou wilt be set upon a Jack Ass,
and with the music of salt-box and brush, accompanied with
the images of imps infernal, thou mayest bodily be delivered
up to the Diabole de fusco Stabulo, there to remain with
him. Amen.
